Network here - we'll try to answer your questions as much as we can!

A lot of you have mentioned having a pre-order facility on our site, we know how great it would be so we are trying our hardest to get it sorted - do bare with us! The 'Notify Me' button is the best way round it at the moment but we know it's not ideal and has some glitches sometimes - if any particular title isn't working do let us know (@networktweets, facebook.com/networkdistributing or shop@networkonair.com)

We're looking at loads of improvements for the site in general so any suggestions are welcome.

*CUE THE BOMBARDMENT OF WISHLIST TITLES*

One small improvement I could suggest would be in the order history. It seems orders are marked as shipped when they are moved to Sony DADC even if they're out of stock so if there's any better way to integrate between the two it could be helpful. I had the situation where a complete order was OOS but thought it had shipped so was getting concerned it had gone missing. It may save some customer service emails.

Hi Bryony,

It's great to have you here! I'd like to thank Network for all the recent Blu-Ray announcements. It's been quite quiet from Network on the Blu-Ray front since This Happy Breed, Odd Man Out and The Lodger were released a couple of years ago, but in the coming months you're treating us to films from Nic Roeg, Powell/Pressburger and Laurence Olivier to name but a few. There are some sterling ITV-owned British films yet to see a Blu-Ray release on these shores (or, indeed, anywhere) so I hope Network keeps up this excellent run!

P.S.

While everyone else is posting their wishlist, I may as well chip in! Hitchcock, please! Your DVD box set was brilliant and I'd love to see it upgraded, either as a whole or split up into volumes. Ideally, you should rectify the previous omissions - Easy Virtue and Waltzes from Vienna. Also more Powell/Pressburger and David Lean, please!

The Beiderbecke Trilogy DVD box was excellent. Would the source materials support a blu ray upgrade? Lossless sound would be worth it even if the pciture improvement was minor.

Sorry lads, I know i'm not allowed to be on here but I just had a quick question: The Last Seduction is scheduled for release in September, yeh? So why is it that them dodgy gits at Amazon say that 'this title will be available in 16th November??

It's been pushed back to November, as per Network's website anyway.

Hello Bryony, and welcome to the forum! It's great to have a Network representative contributing here.

I'm sure you're going to be deluged with requests - I just have one. Tony Richardson's great film 'The Charge Of The Light Brigade' (1968) is in urgent need of a Blu-ray release in its full uncut version. All the versions previously released on DVD and Blu-ray in various countries have been the cut version, which is missing a number of significant sequences. Is there any chance that Network could pick this up? I don't know how good the film elements will be - it's possible that a restoration might be needed, but at least it would be worth investigating.

A request please for Michael Powell's rarely seen film HONEYMOON (1959) starring Anthony Steel, filmed in Technirama and Technicolor and released by British Lion. It may have been released in stereo also as the credits make reference to stereo music. The film was restored some years ago but only released on a DVD in Spain (LUNA DE MIEL) and in Spanish language only.

I watched Jerzy Skolimowski's Deep End recently, i was thinking i would really like The Shout on Blu-ray, such a odd brilliant film.
