I have the first 2 Target Exclusives. So I'm just gonna keep continuing with that.

What Target is clearly going to do is make Part 1 G2 then Part 2 will be G1

Honestly I wouldn't be surprised! Lol.

I never liked the idea of Catching Fire being G1 when its first one was G2 size. That didnt make any sense. I ditched it and went the Steelbook route at BB. Looks like I'll be doing that again this year

If I had the money. I'd get both the steels and the Target Exclusives. But I'll just get the Target once since I have the others. Plus really love the look of it and want the poster.

And sometimes the extra content isn't really worth it or can be found other ways. (Not talking specifically about Mockingjay).

While I prefer to have both, I know that's not always going to happen.
With that said, IMO, exclusive content as become a borderline joke over the last couple of years. I have no interstest, at all, in digital content. Then if we are lucky enough to get it on disc, most of the time it's some 20minute fluff piece that just rehashes what was already given.
At least with packaging you know what you're getting, right up front, AND have the chance to sell it later for a profit...if you so choose.
I'm just glad there are so many purchasing options to appeal to the widest audience.

If it isn't disc-based, it doesn't exist to me. It's like that old SNL skit with Mike Myers screaming about Ireland and Scotland not being the same country. If you're a disc person, be a disc person. If you're a streaming/downloading person, be a streaming/downloading person. This forced mixed media thing the studios keep pushing chaps my disc-person ass.

I don't really care much for Special Features though unless its a film that I truly love. Other than that a minimal 'Making Of' does it for me. Not a whole lot of time to watch much special features anyway.

The making of features are pretty lengthy.

I guess it depends on the title. I've seen Making Of's of 10-15 minutes

I know. Sometimes even less than that. I think both Hunger Games making ofs have been close to 90 mins or more.

Both were close to 2 and a half hours in length.

I meant the making of features. I watched the movies before MJ1 came out in Nov.

What I meant was that sometimes the special features that are on bonus discs can be found on Youtube etc. I wasn't talking about digital special features that are on streaming services.
