They forgot the most important one:

UBISOFT CUSTOMERS
With extensive experience on Assassin's Creed, Assassin's Creed The Ezio Trilogy, Assassin's Creed III, Assassin's Creed Rouge, Assassin's Creed IV Back Flag and Assassin's Creed Unity, Ubisoft Customers will play the vital role of purchasing Assassin's Creed Syndicate and immediately becoming Beta Testers. They will experience a wealth of bugs and glitches which will immediately be reported to Ubisoft through online message forums on sites such as IGN, GameSpot and numerous other sites. Ubisoft will fix most of the bugs so that, by the time the game drops in price, the new customers that only pay $20 will have a relatively bug-free gameplay experience.

Hopefully with all those teams helping, they can iron out any glitches or bugs.

I finally got AC Black Flag and am in the opening city of Havana. No bugs so far. When will the character being able to freely explore? Right now, I'm trapped in the city so I'll continue with the missions till I get my own boat.

Only frustrating thing about AC are the missions where they require you to sneak somewhere or follow someone and it keeps saying you're out of range or any enemy spots you from a mile away, then makes you start all over. Otherwise, the ability to climb buildings and use parkour is a big plus for the series.

Shortly after leaving Havanna, once you get your own ship, you will be able to explore most of the map but you need to eventually progress in the story to discover the whole map. Black Flag is terrific game! I spent many hours sailing & upgrading my Ship. Enjoy!

Thanks Omegaice. I was able to earn a boat after saving 12 captives. You're right that areas in the ocean seem to be blocked off or in red as restricted with different danger levels.
Found a few islands so far, pretty cool. Looks like there's a day/night cycle later in the game from what I could see as it went into night and back to day.

I just started Black Flag too, maybe I can add you for quicker naval fleet times? Whats your ps4 name? This game is really great, but like Mad Max I find it reaaaally time consuming and I just don't have enough hours to explore everything. It has totally got me sucked back into AC after i skipped revolutions and part 3. Brotherhood was my favorite but now black flag probably is.

Will do, thanks. I know the game is two years old so if you don't remember, then no big deal but I'm having a hard time with not having any goods to trade. I've ran out, how do you replensh these?

You gain supplies by sailing the seas, boarding or sinking other ships.

Boarding ships is the fastest way to get supplies. You always want to board a ship and never sink them.

I seem to only have the metal, wood, sugar, and rum from destroying ships. Not the stuff that the naval mini games require where they go out for extended periods of time.

Thanks Legacy. I'm rarely ever online and don't have a PS4 game membership online, but thanks for the offer.
I kept reading the positive comments about this game so finally decided to give the open world one more try.

It's definitely a step up from ACIII for the open world and the day/night cycle is welcome.
What's nice is, unlike ACIII, Black Flag lets you play the game without all of the cutscenes infamous in ACIII before really getting started beyond point A to B quests.
Finally used to the combat though the climbing takes getting used to when trying to avoid jumping up when pursued from enemies in back of the player. The run button being the same button as the jump/climb button...

Thanks. I sank them and got some supplies, but next time I'll spare them the final blast.
I remember thinking GTAV had some of the most realistic water effects, but this is close, and looks great.

Especially since it's due out in 8 days.

I suspect that there won't be too many day 1 purchasers due to Ubisoft's poor track record.

i can't get over how bad Rogue is.

the audio cuts out and doesn't keep up w/the animation at all.

and i thought Rogue was supposed to be far better than Unity.

I was hoping they'd get their act together for this one, and open the doors for early reviews, which the game desperately needs too sell well early.

I think Ubisoft will learn their lesson with this release. No matter how good or bug-free this game may be, it won't sell well at $60. Consumers have learned their lesson on this one. They will possibly learn two things (or both):

1.) Assassin's Creed should no longer be an annual title.
2.) It’s time to start planning the end of Assassin's Creed titles and the finale to the storyline.

Really? I had no problems with Rogue and enjoyed it a lot more than Unity. I felt Rogue had a stronger storyline. Unity was fun to play but there was nothing compelling me to move forward with the story.

Still, I enjoy the games so I've already pre-ordered my copy. There's no other games quiet like them. MGSV is probably the closest if you traded Assassin with Mercenary and swords with guns. However, like Unity, MGSV lacks a solid story. Makes me sad that all these game studios are trying to cash in on multiplayer and dragging down the single-player aspect.
