Dont worry about them ,just enjoy as are. They are a treat to own.
I myself would just like to see a step up in qaulity for keeping them for the longer term with no worries. Also a bit less fragile picture surface wise against scratching. Be a no worry thing if prices were a bit more down to earth. Why limit something like T2 etc to 2000 for instance, why not epen ended. Best SN ps Rambling on is a good place to go for ideas. |

For example, if I wanted to get The Evil Dead steelbook (1981) and be able to put in both the main movie disc and the limited edition bonus disc from the original print run, is it difficult to go out swapping the inner one disc holder for a 2 disc one?
A follow up question would be: what's an inexpensive 2 disc steelbook (one disc on the left, one on the right) that I could pick up to use the inside of? Thanks all! |

Popping out the 2 Steel plates is pretty easy. You can use a thin knife or something. The only "hard" thing would be swapping the spines. There are tutorials on how to do it on Youtube. Doesnt look to difficult but requires a bit of time and patience (i havent done it myself)

The steel plates are actually more awkward than the spine now. I spent ages trying to take the plates off of the recent Jurassic Park (was adding the 3D disc). Dunno if Scanavo have changed something but it was really tight together.
I dunno if they make 2 disc trays with a disc on each side. Usually 2 discs go on the same side, with the other side only being used for 3/4 disc sets. |

I bought Target's Django Unchained steelbook and it has the hooks for a tray. As I already have two of the three retailer exclusive bonus discs, getting a double-sided tray would be real useful. Does anyone know where I could buy one?

Sorry - don't know where else to post this...
I've just been scammed on ebay for a steel I won at auction from a user called frozen_elsa. It seems this person has also sold a number of Guardians of the Galaxy steels (as well as a couple of PS4s) and taken the money and run - there's a flood of negative feedback from the last few days. Has anyone else here been done by this vermin? |
