I tried to take screenshots of my uncalibrated panel but I keep getting this glare or reflection in the top area of the screen that does not let pic come out accurate

Agent Carter and Game of Thrones are the same way...Every time there are dark scenes in tunnels or dark alleys, or outside at night by a fire, you can see pixels bouncing all over the place.
But I managed to customize a picture setting just for those particular titles, which allows me to crush black at 1% and that way the bad posterization is not as noticeable and the amount of detail lost in the dark areas is not too extreme.
So for high quality blurays I use ISF Dark Room mode, but for those heavily compressed programs I use thiese customized Standard mode picture settings

A question on 4K upscaling BDPs to an E6... I'm using a Sony BDP790 right now that has 4K upscaling. Since my E6 can do 4K, would a Blu-ray be automatically upscaled to 4K? The other thing is that I have the BDP hooked up through HDMI to the AVR (Pio SC1222) and then the AVR Hdmi to the E6.

It's always best to let the TV do the upscaling

The Warm 2 setting on my EF9500 is taking some time to get used to. I am using the Expert 1 setting. I think I have got too used to the Standard setting for too long for normal TV viewing.

Just with my previous projector and Bravia, I couldn't remember it as being as yellow. I am watching normal TV on it today with the settings and I am getting used to it. I heard the Expert 1 is quite accurate out of the box and that's why I am using the setting. Not sure if it's just the OLED technology or I am just always used to LCD in the past.

It could also be that since your tv is uncalibrated that makes warm2 appear too yellow. Same on my C6, as it seems to push too much red out of the box so I have to use warm1 or warm2 will appear too yellow

I've left it warm 2 for movies and Netflix but for normal cable tv viewing I have changed it to warm 1.

Is your TV calibrated? If it is not, use whichever color temp suits your eyes...Believe me when I tell you that Warm 2 does not look the same on a calibrated panel vs uncalibrated.
I finally settled for Warm 1 because after seeing a professionally calibrated set in Warm 2, I noticed that the color temperature did not look even remotely as yellow as on my TV.

I've only had the TV since Monday. So it's only had maybe 20 hours use. Wait and see I guess but am very happy and set for cable tv viewing finally after 3 days tweaking. Next is when my UHD bluray player arrives! Though I have been more wowed by the OLED than I ever was with the projector!

Epson 5030UB. Soon I will be building a new HT room so will be unsure on what to get. Since it will be a smaller room I either get another OLED or wait to see what Sony does later this year. Can't really fit a projector in the room I'm building so will be back looking at TVs again soon.

Epson 5030 is a solid projector, I am surprised you didnt think it was that good.
I have a new Sony 45 and in certain aspects it is better than my 4K Oled TV

The 5030 was immersive and had a great PQ but I found on bright scenes the blacks got washed out. I was intending to paint the room a darker color to help the contrast but had to move out.

I had my mind set on the Samsung KS8000 and was 2 seconds from buying it but they had the EF950 on clearance. My only issues with the KS8000 was the blooming (I hated it on the Bravia) and I found it annoying. The EF950 I haven't found banding issues or major issues other than really the yellowish warm2 setting.

It's great for an everyday viewing tv and although it only gets as bright as 400-450 nits I find it bright enough.

Later this year I look at the E6 OLED or the Sony ZD9.

Yes but the 5030 (or the Sony 45) beats Oled on other fronts

Unfortunately the HT room I'm building won't fit a projector in, well I could but will get the SDE from it so next option is a 65" TV. I do think the 5030 wins in terms of near black details and motion. I used to use the THX setting and leave it at that. I still miss it.

WhereI think your projector and mine trumps over these Oled TVs is posterization near black...
When you watch a scene taking place in a tunnel, or a cave, or at night, with different shades of black to grey, on the Oled panels oftentimes you will see pixel blocking and all kind of near-black artifacts. With HD projectors you dont see any pixels jumping around in near black scenes in that fashion.
For example, the Netflix logo below and Agent Carter logo below, on projector look smooth with shades of colors gradually moving out of black. On Oled those shades are not as smooth and your eyes can easily detect the clumps of pixels

I agree with warm2 looking to red/yellow and I use warm1 for all my tv sources now. I also agree with what you said on warm2 not looking that way when calibrated cuz I had a calibrated plasma before this oled and warm2 looked great. I will have chadb back to calibrate this oled soon.

Out of the box every panel is different. You cant expect Warm 2 to look accurate if the TV is pushing red in the first place. So while uncalibrated, Warm 1 can oftentime be more natural-looking than Warm 2, whereas it would look too blue after calibration.

On my TV warm 1 is def my go to. Warm 2 looks too yellow/orange.
