I called this morning as well.
I still have not received a call back, nor have I received an email.

I lived in a Bangor for a spell in like 2001, the roads were covered in light snow for 30 days straight, barely saw the sun. My girlfriend at the time was going to UM, Orono isn't great and neither is Old Town. Beautiful state though...it's just rough living.

Hey Chris, it's " Myke " from Hoffman, and our private e-mails. Good to see you've got your own thread here. You deserve it. You and all your coworkers / employees / friends in customer service, second to none.

In my 8 years of never...never being disappointed by the Bull, I never knew about the digital penny jar, but I just got to use it !

Little Fauss & Big Halsy (getting mainly to put pictures with the great soundtrack) and the new Drive By Truckers CD fell a few cents short, yet I got my free shipping, and of course, those will ship separately, based on their being released two weeks apart.

The Best !

It looks like the halfwits at the Post Office have lost my copy of "Blood Simple." They delievered one package from you today but the other one is nowhere to be found. Who at Bullmoose do I contact to get a replacement?

I would almost rather have the option to pick the replacement up at the Salem location since I don't want to put a second copy in the hands of the Post Office to lose. Again.

For the import type of Bluray releases, does Bullmoose actively try to import those where an order has been placed?

I saw this and that sounds like amazing customer service - as someone who is also picky about the condition slipcovers arrive in, I was wondering how items are packaged for shipping and what the odds are of items arriving that aren't smashed/creased (I know there are people don't have this issue and will blame the carriers, which I get, but there is a way to better protect items from their abuse). I've had a lot of issues with plastic bags/bubble mailers from Best Buy/Amazon and have been hoping some online retailer would be able to do a better job. I am sure I am pickier than the large majority of people - I've pretty much stopped buying anything online if it's something that is stocked locally, but used to spend an insane amount on movies via Amazon.

I've ordered one thing from Bull Moose and it did arrive packaged well, but it was a larger box set. I was wondering how 1-3 Blu-Ray discs would fare...

1 to 3 arrive in a sturdy bubble mailer.

I repeat : 8 years, NO problems, ever.

1-3 Blu Rays typically would come in a sturdy bubble mailer. It wasn't too long ago that I was packing movie orders myself and usually what I'd do is use a size 2 or 3 uline mailer folded once-over for extra padding. What I would say is maybe give it a try and see how you feel about the packaging; if you don't like it just send us a quick email and we'll work something out. We're always looking for ways to get a better 'white glove' packaging experience and I like I said in the other post we truly do want you to get what you want in the condition you want. I'm a collector myself (of figures mostly) so I definitely get it.

Or better any information on the supply side why these are having such a bad rollout across the country and pretty much every retailer? It just can't all be they under estimated the demand this badly esp in light of some of the otehr releases having similar issues.
Unfortunately I don't have any insider info either beyond that there's a shortage at the distro. I could speculate as to the whys but I'm not sure would be too accurate. We'd like to get it back up online when our instore stock is a little more stable (Stephen King is obviously sorta big deal to us Mainers).

Dang! Sorry about that. Hit up our gmail and we'll work something out. Arranging for pickup in Salem probably won't be a problem.

We do actively try to track down any and all preorders (including imports) but sometimes we hit allocations or blocks at the distro. We'll always be in contact if it doesn't look like we can't get something. I will say that imports are a little more challenging sometimes; but we do our best!

Honestly, my best guess would be that the studio undershot demand (which, I know, does seem odd for a horror movie reissue in late September) but that would explain the shortages at retailers (and distros) everywhere.

So I got a shipping email that Cat's Eye was being sent out last Monday, and my credit card had been charged for it. Figured I would get it by Wednesday, but it has not been received as of today. Checking the order status there is no tracking info for the shipping (which has been there with my other orders). Any particular reason why I would get shipping notice and a shipping email, but no tracking info? It's almost as if the movie has been packed to be mailed but hasn't been put in the actual mail yet. Anyone else experience something similar?

Your package is probably somewhere in the postal system. You should sign up for a My USPS account. Then you can see where your package is without having the tracking number yet.

Bull Moose is the best, I live 10 minutes from one of their stores and I check it out at least once a week. They always have new"pre-owned blu-rays" in stock and sometimes pre-owned steelbooks that aren't on their website.

These guys are awesome! I pre-ordered An American Werewolf in London, along with 2 other pre-orders, and arrived here in California with 2 days! Needless to say I will never order from Amazon again as they suck with their no free shipping+taxes and they take forever to ship.

Thanks BullMoose.

Anything goes from September 23rd, really.
Seeing as that's the official start of Autumn.

I sent an email to them over the weekend since there was still no tracking showing up for something that should have arrived on Wednesday and they responded that it appeared there was an error and the item wasn't actually shipped since there was no tracking. They promptly resent the item Monday and I can now see tracking on the resent item. Kudos to Bull Moose for the prompt response and resolution.
