Wish I had paid more attention when I was there yesterday for some of the used movies because that $ sale is nice. It's getting frustrating how poorly labelled their sales are. Makes it less likely that people will exploit those hidden deals, but I keep finding stuff in clearance bins and bargain racks but don't know how much it'll actually ring up at.

Yeah, that's the thing. They have a lot of unmarked items you don't know are on sale.

So how long does FYE take to ship out their orders? I placed an order Sunday evening and it's still listed as in progress. Everything is in stock so I figure it should have been shipped out by now.

just got back from a trade-in, was in a bit of a rush but I looked at the receipt afterwards and noticed I only got 20% credit instead of the 50%. I got store credit not cash. does anyone else's receipt show 20% when trading in?

This was a promotion they had to manually create and enter when I went in and did it yesterday. It's possible that they entered it in wrong. In fact, doing the math, they might have done the same to me.

The coupon says "cannot be combined with any other offer" so it's not likely.

thanks, I guess ill try and go back sometime before the end of tomorrow and get credit for the previous trade-in and at the same time trade in more things.

Surprised at how much I was getting for the titles. Almost every title I traded in got $3 credit, with the high being $7.50 for amazing Spider-Man 3d, plus 20% on top on that.

A far cry from the $.25 to $1 ive read about in the past for FYE trade-ins.

They just got a new New Day shirt that looks like an old-school Nintendo 8-bit cover, and that shirt works as part of the combo. I tried it and the manager was surprised it worked.

Visiting family in Jacksonville, Fl this week. The area has 3 F.Y.E. locations.
So far no luck on Twilight Zone movie, so either I’m too late or they have not put them out yet. All 3 locations had boxes upon boxes to be stocked, so hopefully I’ll get lucky. 2 locations had the Ten Commandments set for $19.99, 3rd location had a few still with the $14.99 sticker. It did ring up $19.99, but they marked it down. Only one of the stores had the Buy 2 get 1 free storewide flyers up, but it was the location with the least to offer. I guess it’s a per location promotion to move inventory. I might make the rounds this weekend before going back home, I got the 25% receipt coupon so hopefully I’ll be able to find some more deals!

I decided to try the 40% discount. It worked great. Thanks OP. I got a copy of Blade Runner 5 disc set, for $8.96.What a deal.It still had the security sticker on it, so it was brand new. Also picked up a used copy of Dawn Of The Dead for $5.00...... I'm getting to really like this store.

Is it just my store, or does it seem like Salem's Lot was released in much smaller quantities than the other two? My FYE had like 10 copies of It, 5 copies of Cat's Eye, and no Salem's Lot. The guy at the store said they only got one copy and it already sold.

Traded in some stuff today. I asked the cashier why it was only reflecting basically a 25% bump rather than 50, and she explained (which still really doesn't make sense to me

The 50% increase is based off the Cash trade in price. When you trade in for credit, you automatically get a 25% increase in the cash price, so, by getting this "50% upgrade" we're really only getting a 25% bump since we're going for credit rather than cash.

That makes sense logically to me, but I still don't understand why they would advertise 50%. Seems douchey.

Also, they wouldn't take any of my DVDs that were in Blockbuster cases, which sucks because they were actually bought retail originally, and I swapped them out with Blockbuster cases years later. Will have to buy some non Blockbuster cases and see what happens next time, because I did get some pretty good credit on random stuff. I got like $2.50 for a DVD of Airheads, $2 for Exit Wounds on DVD, etc.

I think my store was like that too. When I got Salem's Lot. Guy said I got the last copy of it.
