Just ordered this blu off WowHD for about 9$ and free shipping. If there are ever better releases for BF and SR I won't mind a double-dip.

I wasn't expecting top notch video quality of these movies, considering they were released by Mill Creek, and all three movies are featured on one disc. It's a budget blu-ray release, and it's only $3.00 per movie so what the heck, I'm not going to complain. I'll watch them this weekend.

Just arrived in the mail. I love the Streets of Fire slipcover. The triple feature did not come with a slipcover though.

I watched about 15 mins of each.There is wobbling during the opening credits of Silent Rage but that dies down some after that. There is a lot of white specs and dirt. Lots of grain. All of the stuff you would suspect from people who put in minimal effort while putting 3 films on one disc. I say all this and my HDTV is only 40 inches or so.

I would say the transfers are as mediocre (or worse) than 48 hrs.

I'm just happy to have these films on blu ray.

4 hours on one disc ain't really a killer. They're probably just super old masters. Glad to hear they're grainy though, since there was a report of the overseas versions having DNR.

They all look about the same to me. If anything I'd say that White Line Fever is the best and Blind Fury is the worst. There are some compression artifacts but they don't look DNRed. Maybe some sharpening but its no ringing afaik.

Any Information on the coding on the Thriller set ( Wind Chill, Closure, Perfect Stranger ) set would be much appreciated too.

The Psycho Circus set was region free.

Seems a bit random.

I didn't really check out White Line Fever.

I never saw the DVD's to any of these movies and so I can't say how much of an upgrade these release is.

I mean, this release is what most people are likely to expect. These movies could all look better, but it is Mill Creek and you're getting three movies for 8 bucks or whatever.

all I know is that I've always wanted to see WHITE LINE FEVER since I was a kid. It, to my recollection, was never on HBO, Showtime, etc when I was growing up.

It was never on laserdisc or dvd.........

I had the DVD of Silent Rage, and while the picture on the blu ray is nothing special its miles better than the DVD. I cant imagine this would look better regardless who put it out, though Shout would have likely had at least some minor special features.

Just watched Silent Rage and thought picture quality was fine for this type of movie. Totally worth the money. Hell, I would have paid double what I did for just Silent Rage. Still have yet to watch the other two movies.
