Nope! But they did cut out "I cleaned your fathers wound. He was impaled by his own glider" and instead have a new scene where Harry has his own change of heart instead of being told by other people. So that's a major plus!

Yeah that seems like the best change, after reading the list in the BD thread. Hope this cut comes to UHD. I ain't buying a streaming version.

Same. I'm sure it'll come to disk. But it almost wouldn't surprise me. The Evil Dead Remake/reboot still hasn't had its unrated cut released on blu-ray to my knowledge.

That part was horrible. I'm glad to hear it's gone.

(also a bit of trivia for those who might not be aware, Bernard is played by Bill Paxton's father, John Paxton. I don't know why he's credited as simply "Houseman" on all three films, when Harry clearly calls him Bernard at one point)

Sad to hear the emo dancing still did not get cut. I'm willing to give this 3.1 version a shot and may end up breaking my decade long streak of not owning a single version of Spider-Man 3 in any format (maybe)

BestBuy added this product image to the 1080p version of the collection, but no details as to what the discs are. Looks like a bonus disc for the Raimi trilogy and a bonus disc for Amazing.



And the 4K version still hasn't been put back up.

Amazing always had a bonus disc IIRC, ASM1 was a two-disc release while ASM2 was one disc. It's the bonus disc for the Raimis that is the more intriguing of the two, as although Spidey 3 was also a two-discer originally this one may have Spidey 3.1 on it.

I love the fact that they'll be two steelbooks, one for each trilogy. That's pretty sweet!

Hopefully the 4k set will be similar.

Yeah, the 3.1 doesn't sound different enough to pay out for and I'm not really an extras guy either. I have the Mi4k discs, so the only thing I'd get is UHDs. Get on it Sony!

The description on amazon.it says that the bonus disc (titled "Peter Parker") has 4 deleted scenes with some more commentary from Marc Webb. Is that the same description of the bonus disc for TASM1? Or could the 4 deleted scenes potentially be never-before-seen footage?

I am hoping it's the latter. Since Sony made an editor's cut for the Raimi trilogy, they could have been inclined to throw out some more deleted scenes for the Webb ones.

The existing disc has a bunch of deleted scenes already (the movie was heavily reworked in post), so they could be new stuff, sure. Perhaps we might finally see the Mary Jane performances that were deleted from both ASM movies?
