Hopefully we'll get a new menu screen this time. NOT hating on the menus on the Platinum Edition and the Diamond Edition, it is beautiful. But I wish we get something different this time around.

I'd venture a guess that Aladdin 4K will come out May 2019 to coincide with the live action theatrical release.

DMC is releasing an exclusive BD with LM 2 and 3 and digital copy.

You can also order the 4K LM + BD LM2&3 for $39.99 - which seems like a great deal if you want Day 1 (if 4K LM drops to where 4K LK is now, then not as amazing of a deal if you are willing to wait).

I'm really surprised these 4K released don't have more of a release schedule. I almost feel like Disney doesn't have faith they'll sell well.

I like some of these new artwork covers. I worked on some of the older artwork around the Diamond series creating various pieces for the web and streaming.

I especially remember Little Mermaid 1 because some of the files got really big, well over a gig and a half.

I think some of these newer ones are really superior.

To be fair, I wouldn’t say the Signature line has really had one to begin with. I mean you can usually pick the quarter you’ll get one, but the months always seem to change.

Aladdin will most likely be resealed in 4K when the live-action Aladdin is released. As for BATB, who knows?

My bad, I have both releases although for Little Mermaid 2 and 3 it’s a different release, not the same cover art. I’ll check for the digital copy for my Aladdin 2 and 3 copy which is the same one in your photo. I bought Aladdin 2 and 3 release from ebay and it must have been missing the digital copy which may be why I thought it doesn’t have one.

Yes, that’s a great cover of the main characters. Wish it was on the steelbook as well. I just don’t like digi’s. (too many damaged hubs in them)

Everybody already has the films, some us have them going back to VHS and Laserdisc days. Because the bonus features, by and large, are recycled or flat-out fluff garbage, and the masters are identical to the previous Blu releases, Disney's given me no real compelling reason to re-buy them. 3D Mermaid, sure. Snapped it up Day 1. I'm interested in Mermaid giving us some new content, and I'm curious if it's going to be a true 4K release because of the expensive $20 million they spent on it to create the 3D release, but not really in a big hurry to buy it as I'd probably only watch it once or twice. I've had that film in some fashion since 1988.

Trailer was on the Bambi 1989 VHS. Well-spotted.

No, it's not. Maybe at your store as it is not available for shipping. I just got the last one at my local BB for pickup on release day. Looks to be limited stock per store.

This makes me wonder if the a Target exclusive will sell out soon.
When can we pre order and do the pickup option instead of shipping?

I’d be willing to make “steelbook” cases with aluminum foil for $30/ea. Anyone interested?

I hope the two sequels will eventually get a release on 4H UHD.

Very doubtful. These low-budget, rush-job animations look about as good as they ever will, and I can't imagine anyone needing them on 4K.

My prediction when it comes to Disney and 4K catalog is that we'll probably get most, if not all, of the 'premium' (Signature) line, new release 3D animations and not much else. I know I'm certainly not picking the entire catalog up yet again on another format. The 'premium' titles, as far as I'm aware anyway, were the only ones given the proper 4K rescans / remasters.
