I was just over at the Amazon HD-dvd page, where people were talking about Warner continuing to release HD-dvd and how all data about Blu outselling Dud were lies. I can't believe the delusional posters can come up with this stuff. It looks like we are finally about to see Dud surrender day and I can't wait to hear the reactions from those crazy bastards.

that 1% is probably hybrid players.

90% of the electronic industry is behind Blu-ray. toshiba was invited to blu-ray before hd-dud was invented. why did they feel the need to make an inferior product? probably money...bastards.

Default Toshiba to drop HD DVD, sources say

How are the HD-DVD fan-boys going to spin this one then

A strategic withdrawal, so that they can attack Sony in the flank???

JBlacklow already posted this, but it was inevitable.

Toshiba's response to this:

"We are very surprised and disappointed that Toshiba would decide to discontinue HD-DVD as we believe it is the best consumer friendly format"!

It sounds like Toshiba wants Toshiba to drop HD DVD. As for me, it is most assuredly an unequivocal yes.

It won't be long now, I am sure.
But Paramount gets to save none! Para*****s to the end.

Toshiba has to respond to this more firmly than the Netflix/Best Buy response if this is no true. The silence is most deafening.

They are already saying on other forums that there's nothing new in the article and that it's written by a blu fanboy....idiots.
