Glad I didn't get Cloverfield on SD out of sheer impatience. Now make fast with the T-Word and Stardust!

Interestingly Cloverfield and Bee movie re-surfaced on the UK schedule about 10 days or so ago. Interesting hint of things that were to come.
Thanks for the link. I've been looking for something like that. Much better than having to check all the Amazon sites, import sites, etc. to see what's available already and what's coming up.

While I'm excited to see new Paramount titles and not just the ones that were released before they abandoned us, I await the reveiws on the quality of these new releases.

How sad is it that there was doubt?

I get this vision of Alan Bell desperately trying to hang on to a red briefcase.

Star Trek won't make it out until next year when the new one comes out and I know I'll be getting Iron Man at least by October!!!!! Just imagine...Repulsor Blasts in Lossless! (i hope in lossless)

Just saw the news. The closeness of the first releases is defnitely cool. Nothing for me in that first week. I might rent the Bee flick. June 3rd looks to be the date that is goign to make a LOT of people happy.

A little sad Transformers wasnt in that original list, but I hope it only means they are working on a nice high-end release for it.

It's nice they finally announced, but considering how long they made us wait, and how they royally screwed the pooch going to HD DVD only last summer, IMHO this is far from the "big splash" they were supposed to do to make up their stupidity to all of their customers. I don't want it, but I have to agree with a lot of people that Transformers should have been their first release, as that was the first one they denied most people. And where are Beowulf and Sweeny Todd? At least I have the import for Beowulf...

"The Incredible Hulk" is Universal, and they mentioned it in their recent press release...

I don't know how reliable Adam Gregorich is, but he posted some "information" over on Home Theater Forum regarding the specs for the BD-exclusive titles:

Link #1
Link #2

I don't know who he is, so maybe someone who has knowledge of his posting history can verify his credibility.

While I'm not surprised that the Paramount titles he mentioned have "lossless" (as that's the way they were going last year), I was interested that it appears they have switched to Dolby TrueHD (though I feel it makes good sense for them to do so!).
