The Official Martin Logan Speakers Thread

That center is gorgeous! Audyssey works great with Logan's. The laser sweet spot is great,but even if your not in it is still sound really good,pretty much lowers them to a box speaker :P
I'll put some pics of my new gear up tonight..
Bluman needs to chime in. He just got some Theo's and the motif center,and yes.. I'm jealous!

Not that I don't agree his speakers are fantastic (he practically has the same set up as I, since the Theos are basically the same as my Vistas...just taller), but you are no voice of authority here. You can't even make up your own mind.

I've started my conversion to Martin Logan from Mirage. I have one FX2 in my possession, and another FX2 and C2 center on the way. I'm getting 1 component at a time until I have the whole system. I still need to get 2 more FX2's and the Electromotion ESL's to finish. I haven't run Audyssey yet but after I get my 2nd FX2 and center I will. The speaker still sounds fantastic, and right now I'm just using the Audyssey EQ from my OMD-5 as it sounds alot better than without it. I'm sure it will sound amazing after running XT32 on it. I have to say the build quality is excellent, and the tweeter is much bigger in real life that I thought it would be.

Where and for how much, did you get the FX2?

I've been wanting to try one out, but my local shops don't carry it, and I don't want to order one online for the retail price.

They sent every speaker I've ordered from them immediately, and if you order early enough in the day they'll ship it that day. If you call and talk to them directly, you might do much better. I was quoted a great price on a VPI turntable from them. I believe it was Phil.

Well shit, I wasn't planning on buying any new equipment, but it's hard to pass up a pair of EM-FX2 (store display) for $850. I should probably think about this a little more, I have until Sunday until that coupon expires.

I called, and it looks like the display models are sold out (despite them still being listed online). The person I called said he can sell me them for $538.67 each. The display models would have been $426.29 each, should I do it?

If you've got the means then go for it I'm planning on getting them or the efx electrostatic surrounds down the road along with an amp.
