I'm more concerned about the author dying on us before he finishes the books!

He hasn't even written books six and seven yet. Takes about 5 years per book. Look for book 6 in 2015 or 2016, book 7 in 2020.

Look at a picture of George rr Martin. See why we are concerned?

Go to an old folks home and see how many overweight old guys there are . None.

Even it if is it could be a very long time before he finishes it. There was a five year gap between the release of the third book and the fourth, and almost a six year gap from the fourth to fifth book.

There is no release date yet, but season 1 came out on March 6th this year, so it will probably be around that time next year.

Not soon enough as I have yet to see it

- don't have HBO. With that said I just finished the first season for the first time back in July so if it is next spring I guess it will be okay.

I'm in the same boat. I actually just finished season 1 last week.

When is somebody going to finally add the cover to the Target Exclusive edition so my collection doesn't have a single "No Image" showing up? It's just the same as the regular edition. I'd do it if I could!

You can...

Just go to the page with the product when you are signed in scroll down a little and hit "Upload Covers".

Then it's straight forward from there. Once uploaded you just wait for a mod to accept it and it will show up.

FYI--This year's Night of Too Many Stars autism benefit is giving away a limited edition DVD of (I believe) just the pilot episode of Game of Thrones with audio commentary by Tracy Morgan (30 Rock) and J.B. Smoove (Curb Your Enthusiasm), who apparently have not seen the series before. You would also get a Derek Zoolander 2013 "End of Syphilisation" wall calendar.

The program aired live last night on Comedy Central, but the phone lines and web site are still open and taking donations (I just made my pledge tonight over the phone), so I figured it was worth posting here.

The phone number is 1-888-TOO-MANY (1-888-866-6863).

I hope they do the exclusive slip cover again. I would love to see Baratheon or Lannister sigil as the cover.

Is there any editions of Game of Thrones season 1 that include an Ultraviolet digital copy code. I do not have HBO and if I can ever get the series on UV code I would love to see it on Flixster or Vudu.

There's a collector's edition coming out next week that includes Ultraviolet: Game of Thrones - The Complete First Season Collector's Edition

No other versions have been released so far with any Ultraviolet codes.

Are you sure? Couldn't it be iTunes? True Blood is also HBO's and it included iTunes DCs
