The UK Blu-rays of Cutter's Way and Married to the Mob that I'd pre-ordered from Radiance Films arrived today. They're quite nice! To my surprise, the return address on the package is for Lime Wood Media. They are the same people that handle the Powerhouse Films/Indicator Series in the UK. I have yet to be disappointed by the quality of any of those discs, so thinking this new partnership will bode well for FCE.

DiabolikDVD and MVD Shop offer international shipping. MVD's estimate to a random postal code in Edmonton shows $12.95 US for a single Blu-ray.

VS was the best option for me to import to Germany. FedEx Express, $18 and no additional custom charges. All mentioned options are so expensive that I’m forced out. I just hope they’ll release as much with Radiance as possible.

Let's see what MVD does with FCE and Canada. They've been spotty with 88 releases, almost non-existent with Indicator releases, and so far Radiance films pre-orders have gone live, but with wacky pricing. Severin titles also fall into this wacky pricing too. I find the new release prices for Severin at Bay Street Video in TO to be the best, and the worst on Amazon.ca - Cinema1 usually gets most of what MVD puts out.

It looks like amazon.ca is the worst place to buy anything right now. They charge MSRP or more for every new release. We get lucky with one or two products being "reasonable".

Which I don't understand. If you can ship to us at regular price, why can't you ship here during sales? We still pay for the shipping either way.

Since jah13 is back, I'll throw out some forgotten 80s/90s NYC indie suggestions:

The Girl In The Watermelon (1994) (not to be confused with The Watermelon Woman)
Starring Meredith Scott Lynn (her movie debut I believe). I may be one of the few people who actually saw it (and remember it). I don't think it ever played outside of film festivals and I don't think it was ever released on home video. I will admit this is a super deep cut.
