"At the ripe old age of 57, Roger Moore decided to take one more turn as England's favorite secret agent, James Bond. The result was 1985's A View To A Kill, the 14th movie in the Bond canon."
Daniel Craig, age 47, is contracted to do one more. So, when he is 50, they will do the next one......unless the rumors about a double feature are true, which would mean he would be still be 47 at the time of filming #25. Credited source or not, even if Craig HATES the character, even if he gets a doctor's note. He HAS to do one more. Everything else is speculation and rumor. ![]() ![]() for the next version of Bond, find a early 30's actor and lock him in a 5 feature deal. ![]() |

SPECTRE Set Photos Reveal Physical Details About Christoph Waltz's Bond Villain
The Daily Mail caught a glimpse of the SPECTRE production filming a sequence near Vauxhall Bridge in London this weekend. Every rumor mill on Earth pegs him as really playing SPECTRE overlord (and 007's greatest enemy) Ernst Stavro Blofeld. Blofeld has been depicted in a variety of ways through the years, from Donald Pleasence's scarred, proto-Dr. Evil in You Only Live Twice to Telly Savalas' earlobe-less incarnation in On Her Majesty's Secret Service to Charles Gray's silver-haired and otherwise ordinary-looking villain in Diamonds Are Forever. If there's one thing that was established for sure in Waltz's breakthrough role as SS Colonel Hans Landa, it is that he needs no bloody scarring added to his face, in order to deliver a bone-chilling performance as a main villain.

Easy, tiger. There's no facial make-up effect - short of making a hole in someone's head - that can't be done practically, so it's gotta be for something special that needs such drastic and expensive CG work.
Given that we've seen an old black-and-white photo of what appears to be Waltz in the trailer, I'd wager that they're shooting a flashback and they're gonna de-age Waltz for that scene. It's no wonder that this movie was budgeted at three hundred million dollars. |
