Blu-ray Samurai

In the case of Blade Runner, if it's not in stock it could very well be discontinued for a new UPC. I would be hesitant to consider it "OOP" as there will surely be a re-release to tie into the new movie next year. Though it's possible they do not continue to re-release the version with all 5 cuts. As of now I'd consider it "out of stock", but inevitably to be re-released. All studios have blu-rays that appear to go OOP or out of stock for no apparant reason. If it's not a rights issue, it most likely is just a inventory issue where they need to do a new pressing. The simplest explanation is it's just stuff falling through the cracks - remember that all the major studios do print runs that should be YEARS worth of inventory at retail. There's probably countless blu-rays that haven't had a "print run" for years and years, we just don't know it because the retailers are still stocked. Warner might let this happen more than others, but it's not that unusual really. We've seen this happen with some Criterion titles, Sony titles, and others. Every studio has let it happen a few times. I remember Rio Bravo was OOP for like 3 years. I got all excited when it was announced thinking it would be a new remaster. Nope. Same old video, but they did at least add a lossless audio track. |

It is still available there and from some third party sellers, it just seemed like maybe those are the last supplies that haven't dried up yet since the bigger retailers don't have it in stock.

Blu-ray Duke

Do I need this? It's a title that was once on my list of films to pick up but has since fallen off. I've seen bits and pieces on El Rey Network or another station a while back and enjoyed what I saw, but just never felt the need to make it a priority at the time. If this is indeed nearing OOP status, based on my collection do I need to grab it before it's gone?

Since the beginning and still today Arrow only lock their discs when their license forces them to. They have many region-free releases.

Good thing I snatched this up when it was only $20. Now it's selling from $323-$497. I only bought it because of Duplex. My Boss's Daughter is terrible. I hope they make a stand alone release for Duplex.
I would totally double dip for that, because the navigation in the double-feature is a bit annoying. And My Boss's Daughter is an overall terrible movie. So I wouldn't mind making a few hundred bucks selling it to someone who wants My Boss's Daughter. ![]() |

No way duplex / my bosses daughter has even sold for 1/10th of those prices asked
Amazon is giving a .25 cents for a copy traded in, if it had any sales at a high price they would adjust accordingly Btw there's a copy on eBay right now as part of a lot of Blus - not even an opening bid so far, but the title and description isn't very good to bring attention. To it |
