The Stuff

Basically 80s / 90s cheesy stuff with gore, sfx. Sometimes considered "bad" films.

Not 80s or 90s, but it's a fun cheesy one.


More gory than all the others I've recommended in this list. The first 3 Hatchet movies are the best. They get better and better as the sequels go on.

If we're doing recommendations, here's a bit of a mixture. Some are simply underappreciated, some are less "mainstream" favourites of mine, some are just more obscure movies that I rarely, if ever, see anyone talk about, and some are interesting movies that are rough around the edges but have enough good ideas, elements and moments to justify a positive review:



I tried to give as much different types of Horror or sub-genres, and offer a good variety. Have fun, some real gems in there, but then I would think that wouldn't I?

I have apple cider, pumpkin spice creamer, pumpkin beer, and Oktoberfest beer in my fridge. I have several autumn / Halloween scented candles prepped to be burned today. I have some Halloween decorations already pulled out of the closet and ready to be put up. Presently drinking a pumpkin spiced coffee and about to eat a pumpkin spiced donut. Horror Bluray are staged and ready to be watched.

All I need now is a new annual Halloween thread!
