Having second thoughts about working overtime this weekend. The money would be fantastic but is it worth the stress/aggravation? Plus I'm already technically working 2 full time (=80hrs/week) jobs so I'd also be risking getting burned out which I can honestly say from past experiences isn't fun! The only reason I'd work is because my fiancee has to work and I don't really want to sit home alone(even if I'm staying busy, I don't like beimg alone too much).

Feeling very thankful today for receiving my annual bonus, but would gladly trade it for a year's worth of not being anxious about layoffs (seemingly) every year.

6.5 oz box of Nabisco Fig Newtons (small snack pack)
Family Dollar: $1.65
7-11: $2.99
A local grocer near me: $3.49

I usually go to 7-11 to get name brand stuff for a discount but $2.99 for a small box of figs that Family Dollar sells for $1.35 less is just crazy. The grocer that overprices everything because it's fashionable is just for "emergencies" (they're closer than 7-11).
How can different stores have such wildly varying pricing for the same exact product between them? Maybe someone with experience running a business can explain this?

Was skimming through a movie thread and noticed that someone posted his opinion of the movie... only it sounded a lot like someone else's review. I Googled the words he used and yup, he just took a review and passed off one of the sentences for his own opinion. Then I looked up his posting history, and that's all he does!!! Over and over again! What's the point of that?

Maybe some day there will be a "Green" marathon on TV or a repertory theater.... Green Book, Green Card, Green Mile, Green Hornet, Green Lantern, Green Mansions, Green Room, Green Zone.

Yes I know but from what I've heard I don't really like them particularly whatever the hell is his name. I suppose I don't like that type of music.

We bought the kid a car today.

Now, he's twirling his keys around his fingers and walking around like he owns the world.

He needs money for gas, insurance and tags. I told him we'd only go so far.

Tomorrow I'll be going to a library to take advantage of a program the city is offering taxpayers (free tax prep). My taxes were prepared by an accountant friend of a friend for the past 10 years but he passed away last year so I had to find an alternative. Besides my W-2, what else should I bring with me? The lady I spoke with from the library said to bring "all my documents". I told her my return was simple but she repeated the line. What documents should I bring?
