They did another disaster film right afterwards called The Quake which is equally as good.

On a tangential note, if you're of a certain age New Wave: Dare To Be Different is a very engaging documentary, but I'm probably biased as I was a New Wave listener on Long Island during the time the doc is about.

Seems like there are a bunch of additional titles being reporting as not porting from iTunes to Movies Anywhere at UHD/4K so buyer beware when redeeming codes or making purchases in iTunes expecting UDH to port through MA. Ashley L and whoever else has been doing a good job of keeping 4ksheet.com up to date. In the current iTunes sale This is the End and The Other Guys are not porting as UHD.

[Show spoiler]iTunes is embarrassing Vudu with it's Seth Rogan titles; you can get UHD through iTunes for much cheaper and should port through Movies Anywhere as 4K. I'm not sure the average price of $7.99 per title is the best we'll see but good enough for me to nab a few.

No kidding. One of my favorite movies and it would likely have been a huge hit if released today. Same thing with Sky High. Both are humorous and well done deconstructions of the hero genre.

I can't recommend enough at least giving Operation Finale a rent at 99 cents if you are a fan of the genre or actors even a little bit. It is probably one of my favorite movies of the past year or so. I'm just disappointed the Blu hasn't had any drops in prices yet.

Oddly this is an 11 day rental window only, which is not something I've typically encountered with Vudu. You usually have 30 days to watch it from the time of renting. Just be aware.

Good catch. I know I have seen it a couple times in the past. I want to say last year during the anniversary sales I had a couple rentals that I never got a chance to watch due to them being shorter rental periods.

The titles not porting as 4K from iTunes over the past week have now been fixed, I can confirm that Grown Ups 2 and That's My Boy both port correctly.
Edit: Port as in transfer from iTunes to MA as UHD; not exactly applocable to Vudu yet since not 4K on Vudu so HDX is limit there.

Those 2 still show HDX as the highest quality you can get on VUDU, how can you tell that 4k rights transferred?

Look at your moviesanywhere account. It should list it there.

They don't transfer from MA until Vudu adds the 4K

The nice thing about Vudu is they bump the title to the top when an upgrade happens. To be more specific on my last post, there is an option like a transaction history (I don’t remember the exact name off hand) you can view on moviesanywhere.
