The audio was also absolutely incredible. The dialog, ambience, and just general natural soundstage is amazing. If I had any complaint at all, it would be that Ben Burtt's repurposing of the original stereo audio stems for modern surround had a bit of a one dimensional LFE channel. It almost sounded like they used the same low frequency foley sound effect for guns, punches, etc., but that's a very minor complaint. I did thoroughly enjoy the added bottom end oomph.
Holy sheep shit! I can't believe how awesome this is. I thought it would be pretty cool, but come on!

You got me and Tommy backwards, but I did feel a little spacey last night.

Thanks Mahatma. I'm still trying to get caught back up, and have to be very selective with the few BDs I buy for now, but I would like to check it out. I've never seen LoA!

Hey Wabo. Just watching some tv. I expected it to be pretty good, but it turned out to be great. The A/V was pretty amazing!

That's great to hear. Hope you are enjoying every second. That's a great price for those movies. I hope it stays at that price like the Star Wars, I would hate to see it increase. I soooo want Star Wars to drop to like 60 or 70.

I thought the Indy set was a bit overpriced personally, but not too bad.

[Show spoiler]Well almost.
What's up Tommy. I didn't get around to watching it last night, but I've got the weekend of, so I should be able to finish the whole set.

I gave my projector a thorough cleaning last night. I took the air filter out and vacuumed it clean, then I wiped down the whole unit with a damp cloth and went back over it with a dry cloth, then I used a damp q-tip to really clean out the exhaust vents, and then gently cleaned the lens thoroughly. I was pretty surprised at how dirty the q-tip was after cleaning the exhaust vents, but I haven't cleaned my pj at all in the last several months. At least it's very clean now.

Yup those projectors really quickly collect dust. It's properly the heat and static electricity's fault.

Well I was just making fun of you and your Indy purchase, not a nice thing to do but you know me.

I waited early in the day for my Western Digital media hub too arrive but the fool had picked the cheap way of shipping it without package distribution. So it didn't arrive at my door and wanted too end up at a fancy new electronic outside mailbox. But i didn't know about this so i hadn't created a login and therefore it was refused there and showed up as 'return too sender' in my track and trace. Luckily i were up in the very minute they scanned it and i could contact the phone support and arrange that they dropped it of at the local post office.

So tomorrow i hope too get the package pickup form so i can finally pick up the package.

But it's not completely his fault as i should have checked this before he started shipment but i guess i got lazy.

Well it's not a complete loss. At least it's still in my town and not on one of the islands.

It seems like you always have trouble getting stuff mailed to you. At least you caught it before it shipped back out. I looked up the Western Digital media hub, and it looks pretty sweet!

Thanks yes but properly best for offline content and it doesn't doesn't allow modified firmware without removing most of the online content permanently. But i still like the compact box (no external drives needed) and the official firmware is still being worked at so i'll properly be just fine.

I did manage too find one skin that i liked http://www.michaelrottner.de/wdtv_live_hub.html

The red enhancement lense for my projector i also finally seem too be able too get. Im still waiting for a reply on my last email asking about payment options though.

Wow, that's just over 3 miles. I'd be exhausted. Good for you.

Yes mate it was tough but good. I've only just been training a couple of days a week for a month cirka.

The red lens is just that and nothing more. Used too boost the reds that my projector so sorely is missing and thereby also enhancing the contrast. Basically the end result will be like that of the grey lens filter i have on now and the grey screens out there but without taking anything away from the brightness.

Link1 and link2 should explain it rather good.

Okay, I understand now. Cool.

I think it's projection time here! Have a great night Tommy. If you stay up late enough, you might get to talk to the Gremlins that take over my computer after I get drunk at night.
