I hear ya...I was puzzled at the "just show 'em this" note lol, I was thinking "what? Four nice, individual cases would be IDEAL IMO, especially for those of us that will be passing along a couple of the unwanted titles"...if only the price was kept friendly though (which as you pointed out, probably wouldn't).

Well, my feelings for this UHD are a little more tepid than SplitScreen's

I've just watched the bulk of JP1 and the good news is, it's definitely a significant upgrade over the blu-ray. Gone is the overly harsh appearance which is a huge plus and colours are improved (though still problematic).

I don't think it's a UHD presentation worthy of the movie itself though. I'm still seeing Universal's filtering at play here and think it's still a ways from looking as filmic as it should. I'm not finding the colours entirely convincing either - flesh tones especially.

It's coming hot on the heels of the Die Hard UHD, so that's a tough act to follow but i'm not overly enamoured by what i'm seeing. I'll finish up the movie and flip back and forth between the blu-ray and UHD and have a think on it. Perhaps i'm expecting too much from our beloved Jurassic Park?

Well, to you too lol. I think it looks great. At least on my set-up anyway. My OLED seems to really love it. No complaints here.

All you have to do is look at the JP tag hanging from the Explorer's rear view mirror to see the added detail.

Jurassic World looks fantastic. Have tested it and I can’t see any heavy blue tint to it. The HDR looks great too.

Picture quality wise, I’d say it’s the best of the four. Lost World has had a hell of an upgrade compared to standard blu ray too.

Nevermind the screencaps, wait until you actually see it.

those Zoom Steelbooks look great. I ordered the Best Buy ones, hope they look similar. They are expected to arrive tues on release so I took Wed off so I can have a Jurassic movie marathon.

Agreed. Screencaps converted from UHD Blu-rays and then viewed on a 8-bit, non-HDR monitor are only marginally better than cell-phone camera picks of a 4K TV screen. Hardly representative of what you'll actually see when you view the UHD disc on a proper setup.

Until all monitors support 10-bit, 4K, HDR, & WCG, these "screencaps" from UHD Blu-rays are worthless to me.

Woah! A proper slipbox and separators for each Steelbook!

If the Steelbooks aren't stackers then it's a pretty fantastic release, especially for only $5 more!

Watching The Lost World on Apple TV right now and wow, what an upgrade over BD! Anyone disappointed with JP1 should love how filmic TLW looks, and I can imagine disc version can be only better.

Even being stackers, which I expect - I just cancelled my Amazon order for these. For $5 more it's worth it, plain steels or not.

Are those amarays inside the trilogy box? (Except Jurassic World of course). Have you got pictures of that too?
