Plus... buying from a boutique supports local small business... despite it being a few bucks more to go that route... But then again... it may not be more... sometimes Amazon is as expensive as the boutiques. Just my 2 cents... |

With Amazon.com, I at least know where I'm at and there's no hassle in case anything happens to the shipment. And OCN had fantastic flat-rate 3-day FedEx shipping without customs hassles. Very difficult to replace that! (In addition to the fact that I'm a subscriber this year.) |

House of Yes was co-produced by Spelling Films. Roadshow only distributed the Spelling catalog until Paramount took over. Since Paramount acquired the Miramax catalog, they ironically have worldwide distribution rights now.

Fun City, any thoughts on releasing this? It seems like something that fits what your label looks for.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, this was near the top of our MGM asks back in 2019. It was not available.

Something from MGM/UA (I am assuming that they have the rights) that I would love to see released is Happy Birthday, Gemini (1980).
It is a adaptation of a play but big charges were made to the screenplay to increase the role played by Madelene Kahn whose character is a supporting role in the play. The film was not well received when it was released and has since pretty much disappeared into obscuity. It is the second film from Richard Benner who made Outrageous! (1977) with Craig Russell as well as the sequel to Outrageous about 13 years later. (Both Richard Benner and Craig Russell sadly passed away from AIDs not long after the release of the sequel). Whilst Happy Birthday, Gemini is far from a perfect film it is a really different take on the traditional 'coming out' films and has a great cast. Would be wonderful to see this film get released. |

Watched Natural Enemies this afternoon. Holy moly, was this a heavy hitter. Totally engrossing from start to finish. High praise for this film. Great job FCE for getting this one more recognized.

Any word on Primetime Panic Volume 2? I would love a second box set. I love the first. Such a treasure of made for TV movies lovingly restored by Fun City Editions!

Source? That would seem odd considering, as far as I know, Criterion's disc is still in-print and I'd be very surprised if FC was able to make a deal with Disney.
