Well, im thinking of selling my entire collection!
Close to 5,000 Blu-ray and 4k.

Why you givin' up? You're going to regret it! If you're purging your physical media collection because you ripped everything to a server that makes me feel a little better but if you're just tired of it, that would be sad. If you're doin' it because you fell in love and your partner doesn't approve of you owning so many movies, shame on you Lol.

All jokes aside, please reconsider. Your collection may become priceless when everything switches to digital and you'll only be "allowed" to keep an Adam Sandler movie for 2 weeks

How would i even rip a 4k dolby vision disk? I havent seen any 4k DV drives.

Speaking from personal experience: don't do it. In 2015 I sold off my entire collection, aside from a few Marvel movies and others that were important to me. Fast forward to 2019, I've rebought basically everything that mattered to me and have accepted that I can't quit this hobby, nor do I want to. I did it because of an ex girlfriend. 110% regretted it. Lost a lot of money and stressed big time over trying to stop doing something that I very much enjoy.

It always sounds nice in your head. Thinking of all the extra cash you'll have to save or spend, but then you say "well, whats one new release?" when you're at the store. Before you know it, you're back to buying like you never stopped. You'd be better off weeding out your collection and selling what you don't watch often enough.

Thinking about a Tom And Jerry/Die Hard movie. It would pretty much be Tom and Jerry doing their thing in the Nakatomi tower during the events of Die Hard, but it would also have them facing off evil counterparts to themselves that acted like the Gene Dietch versions of them.

Also, keep your collection Gold Ranger. Trust me, you'll regret selling it later on down the line.

Update on the key situation. Dad ordered 2 sets but there was an airbag recall, so the car is still in shop. I've enjoyed driving his truck for the last couple days, though I'm ready to have my car back. Speaking of cars, yesterday I saw an Audi R8 at the liquor store. Not sure the year, it is however one of the sickest rides I've seen up close in awhile. V10! The person who owns it seemed to be a decent guy, too. We both arrived to the same check out at about the same time, and he said go ahead. He was so nice about it I couldn't even silently jealous hate on him.

edit: Good lord! Imagine how long it'd take to put this puzzle together.

No, had some of those years ago for CDs, hated them
They scratched the disks bad. And constantly.
I already have them all packed up in about 60 totes.

I just need to go and write them all up so i can post it for sale.

Aren't computer monitors supposed to have built-in speakers? I briefly owned an all-in-one, which did have speakers, but I traded it in for a regular PC and the monitor didn't have speakers. Had to buy a cheap pair (no way was I spending $40+ for speakers I'll use mainly to hear dialogue). This makes zero sense. Plus it was something else I had to plug into an outlet
