Yes yes yes. I plan on seeing Ant-Man but I am not excited about it. Depending on the reviews I may just wait for the Blu-ray instead, which is what I said about Black Panther and look what happened with that.

Why would they consider doing that? Avengers 4 is already in post-production and they will have so much buzz going into the film, especially after Captain Marvel

Watched it again this afternoon... pay close attention to Doctor Strange's face when he hands over the Time Stone. He doesn't say a word, but that look speaks volumes, like he's standing there thinking "take the stone, take the stone!" Clearly, something's going on there.

Through the 3 Avengers team-up films I've never felt the urge to see Thor off on adventures in Asgard with his adopted brother. I doubt that will ever change.

[Show spoiler]This is probably the darkest, cerebral, shocking, beautifully ethereal, of the MCU. And it's honestly a good thing Thor: Ragnarok had the tone it had before witnessing this story.

It's more an epic apocalyptic poem with Lord of the Ring story telling. It does things you were twistedly hoping for, yet you're not quite prepared for it. It also has some of the most natual non-forced humor of the recent movies. In the sense the humor isn't used as an antidote to something tragic that preceeded prior.

It's not 100% perfect considering the shock value will diminish over time for some things; which originally adds to what makes it so good. I do think the ending events is on par with new views experiencing the Darth Vader reveal in TESB.

I do wish there was more impact for

[Show spoiler]Loki and Heimdal's

deaths. They were expected, but I was still hoping to be moved to tears. I was moved to a few tears after witnessing the result of

[Show spoiler]the snap

and after

[Show spoiler]Spider-Man/Peter Parker dies

while in pure fear. I also thought Thanos had

[Show spoiler]ended up among those to die during his ethereal sequence with little Gamora or Death disguised as her

before the

[Show spoiler]big montage

afterwards.

I thought it was cool choice to make

a Darth Maul type. If you're familiar with what Star Wars: Rebels did with the character.

For me, it's definitely amongst the top best of the MCU as a whole.

Exactly. Just like when Harry Potter talked with Dumbledore in the Deahtly Hallows. Not to mention, the whole Soul Stone sequence premise was identical to Harry and Dumbledore retrieving the locket in the cave.

Us brits are usually quite quiet anyway and there were several bits of dialogue I missed on first viewing due to the laughter alone.

Unless I was watching it back to back, i'd be a little pissed off about the noise.

I watched that video last night. I'm glad I had a relatively quiet audience. That much enthusiasm is overkill. All I had was a row of 5-8 year olds in front of me expressing their disgust at any romance. Also, someome let one of them watch Deadpool.

I noticed that when first watching. I was anticipating Thanos was going to kill Tony and take the stone.
