Very strong 3D in this one. The vintage titles have far superior pop out to modern efforts.

Hi okie,

If you have an all region player and like the movie then you will enjoy it more in 3D.

I believe it. Just watched it for the first time myself. The animation of the kids looked dated at times but then again there were some really incredibly done sequences. Overall a fun movie to kick off my holiday movie viewing.

Preordered Wings of the Hawk. Decided supporting 3D more important than my personal likes. Besides Julie Adams is hot.

The depth was impressive. Only one major pop out (the obvious big money shot) but I had fun with this one. Better than I expected.

Exodus: Gods and Kings

Really good 3-D here, much improved depth than seen in Prometheus. Beautiful cinematography too. The movie itself isn’t bad but a little uneven. Suffers from being poorly miscast although Christian Bale puts in a commanding performance. Forgot Jesse from Breaking Bad is in this movie.
Still need to watch the deleted scenes which are also in 3-D.

I couldn’t agree more! When I watch 3D I want the in your face gimmicks and modern 3D just doesn’t have a lot of it from what I’ve watched so far.

I watched Those Redheads from Seattle last night and while I found the movie kind of boring I thought the 3D restoration was excellent!

I also watched Star Trek Beyond and I found the 3D to be underwhelming. Don’t get me wrong, they did a really great job and it adds lots of depth to the picture but nothing really that came out of the screen until the end credits.

I was never into 3D movies in theaters but I’ve become a little obsessed with watching 3D films at home. Especially the older 1950s titles. I have basically been ordering titles that were given a 4.5/5 by Blu-ray.com. I have watched 6 titles in the past week and I have about 21 more that are on the way!

I know exactly what you mean! Do you own the 3D rarities discs? They are well worth owning.

For insane pop outs I'd say get Comin at Ya! & Friday the 13th 3D. Coming at Ya! is usually cheap, Friday the 13th 3D discs are turning up on ebay.
