The Force Awakens looks and feels so much different to Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith, its like a mash up of the OT and TPM in terms of tone, art direction, style etc, and I mean all of that in the best possible way.

Just because the character is lying there doesn't necessarily mean they are dead. Finn likely loses a limb in combat with Kylo Ren and she is crying over his wounded body and it snaps her into picking up the lightsaber and taking him on herself. Finn ends up with an artificial limb (like Luke and Vader).

None of those titles were straight to video, IIRC.

J.J. isn't perfect, but he's one of the better filmmakers around today and he's certainly more capable than George Lucas.

You know that shot in the trailer with the forest getting shredded in pink light? Gonna guess that's when we see Leia's laser in action. Anyway, Kylo Ren's forces take that weapon and most of the fleet down, Poe Dameron and his squad survive, and fly to the surface to mix it up....hence the "Woooooo-hoooo!" in the trailer.

Anyone getting a artificial limb would mess up the poetry of the saga! Unless they're trying to smush the beats of the original trilogy into one movie, and then make up something more original story wise? Most likely not. Most likely, someone will lose a limb in Episode VIII.

She's surely either Luke or Leia's daughter. Finn will either be the second star support dude like Solo was, or he's a misdirection.

Oh okay. That's actually kind of cool. Not much a "spoiler" if you ask me because what they're using is the same to that of the Death Star or Kylo's Starkiller Base.
