You can see all detail has been stripped away. This is easily Disney's worst looking Blu-ray release yet. From The Fox and The Hound, Tarzan, and now this, something has happened at Disney's Blu-ray mastering department and it's not good.

I've canceled my pre-order. This is seriously disappointing that I'm now going to have a gap in my collection of Disney classics."

So here is someone

No seriously, I also don't trust Home Theater Forum but since is the first review that have arrived I think is good we read it to compare it with this site's review when it arrives in the following days.
Well you got me... Anyone else?

And that site is awful. They gave Home on the Range 5/5 , they never mention any issues apparently, I wonder even if they take the time to actually watch the films they review.

I bet this site will give it from 3,5-4, depending on how forgiving they are willing to b and whether or not they are gonna compare it to The Rescuers restoration
What was wrong with home on the range again

When they first appeared for preorder, Amazon offered $8 off of each item. I believe that the offer has expired, but they've done it for other Disney films. Most recently, Finding Nemo and Brave 3D as well as Aristocats and (I think) the Tigger Movie. It generally occurs within the first week or two than an item is available.

Never was a big Aristocrats fans, so I'll be buying The Rescuers and then Pocahontas at a later date.

I wonder why is taking so long for this site to post reviews for the Disney August titles. Most sites have at least one review but so far Blu-ray.com has none.

Yes for Many Adventures! Though I still think they missed a great opportunity by not timing it with the release of Winnie the Pooh, either in theatres or on Blu-ray.

I can't wait to get those two and Pete's Dragon. I watched all three heavily during my childhood. They were all taped when they aired on the Wonderful World of Disney. I don't think I've seen any of them in a very long time, so it will be interesting to watch them without the Michael Eisner intros and fast forwarding through commercials.

Of course. Just sayin'!

Anyway, next week's Target ad was posted, and the only thing that was in there is Aristocats at $24.99... This isn't looking too good. Honestly, I was hoping for Amazon to drop the three upcoming movies to $19.99 (thus making them $11.99 with coupon). Honestly, I can wait, so if it doesn't seem like they'll be dropping to at least $22.99 ($14.99 with coupon), I'll probably cancel and just wait for them to become enrollment titles at the DMC.

EDIT: Tigger Movie was also in the Target ad. Also $24.99.

YES on the Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh news! It's my second favorite animated classic after Alice in Wonderland, so I've been dying to own it in HD for years, especially after seeing the new restoration they sourced the "Mini Adventures" clips from. If those clips are any indication, Many Adventures should look flawless on BD and not suffer from the soft DNR treatment Aristocats got. It looks like with Pooh, they did a very careful and extensive restoration akin to Dumbo and Alice.

For those wondering what to expect (visually) from Pooh's release, these "Mini Adventures" clips I collected ought to speak for themselves:
