I've only been to 1 film in October so far. I'm slippin, guys.

Edit: My billing date is the 17th of the month. So I actually got to 5 movies on this billing cycle.

(I also went to a film festival, where I saw 12 features in 3 days)

My first renewal is next Tuesday; seen 7 movies so far and will very likely go to 2 more this weekend. Maybe I'll slip a screening in one night this week, who knows.

Pretty solid first month!

In my 2 months of being subscribed, I've seen 16 films in theaters. Can't beat that for $20.

Well, at the current price (which is almost certainly unsustainable, I think their plan may even just to float it long enough to mine enough data for their parent company, and then try and monetize that) even one movie a month basically has the card pay for itself.

I had a pretty big week seeing films in theaters last one with five pictures, though used moviepass just for Happy Death Day and Professor Marston, since Wonder Wheel and Arthur Miller: Writer were film festival screenings (and they sold out before the screening date, so one needs to buy in advance), and I saw Marshall at a theater chain which doesn't support Movie Pass.

Which one? In most cases, it's Moviepass deciding not to add them and not the other way around.

Hit my first snag this past week with the Moviepass. Went to a semi-local arthouse theater, which DOES show up in the Moviepass app, but wasn't on the day I was using it. Moviepass' FAQ said is was most likely due to the theater not submitting their schedule, and that I could still use the card, I just had to contact Moviepass through the chat feature. Well, I tried that, and got a message saying to make sure my "push" was on so that they could reply back to me. I don't know what this "push" thing is, but I never got a reply, so I had to pay to see a movie that night. I DID use my Moviepass card successfully at the same theater a few days later...this time, the showtimes had loaded correctly. I guess the moral is, always check the app to make sure the showtimes are in there before heading to the theater.

It's a Landmark Theater. Not sure who doesn't support the other, but I read in articles that was one of the chains Movie Pass doesn't work with.

Open a ticket with support (include info + stub/receipt) so they can reimburse you.

Same here. Still hasn’t arrived. It’s for my wife (I already have one), so this will really determine how often we go to the movies.

That's odd then. Ordered on the 9th or 10th. Got here today. When signing up it did say, allow 2-3 weeks for delivery.

You must be new to this thread? Folks on here have reported up to 40 days it took to get the card.

Did anyone else get a survey email from them?

Not 100% sure I'll fill it out, but had questions like how many movies I saw in theaters in previous six months before Movie Pass, and most anticipated movies for rest of the year (no doubt trying to mine data, particularly about Movie Pass increasing attendance)

I did not get that email, I wish I did though. I love taking surveys.

I guess a good strategy when it comes to movies with reserved seating is to go to the theater when it first opens, place the order for the later showing and then come back, rather than be stuck with what is left over.

I tried to convince a friend to do it but he said he won't get paid til Friday so he will probably get it around Justice League.
