Visually amazing. Story itself...ok. I'd give it a solid 8 so not too far off from the 8.3.
Pleasantly surprised and action packed from start to finish.

I received the 3D version from Amazon yesterday. Sat down last night to watch the 2D blu-ray and made it to about 29 minutes and the disc froze and locked up my player. Sure enough there is a scratch or defect below the disc surface. The disc locks up in another player and my PC as well.

Oh well, I have a replacement from Amazon on the way. I ended up watching Backcountry instead which really impressed me.

the comic exclusive (upc 883929486366/item code 3000064741, dpci 058-37-1180) has a larger slipcover (4/5-disc type, like their lego movie exclusive with comic, another wb release) that mentions the comic on it. while i like that it allows for a slightly larger comic, it really just kind of slides out once you unwrap it. i would've swapped for a larger quad case, but then the comic is too thick to still fit in the slip..these are the things i have to deal with as a collector lol.
Is it allowed to post the collectible infographic link? Seeing it is not requiring any code, shouldn't be illegal to post the link here?

Question

Can anyone tell me about how many versions of this movie have this exact cover ...I am talking worldwide? >>>
[Show spoiler]

Honestly I know it was a bit of a gamble but I found a copy with this cover on eBay for really cheap and its coming from pretty much ~halfway around the world....

Only the Steelbook and Metalpaks have it I believe (some with 3D added to the title). Did they list it as one of those?

No they did not, its just ...."NEW Mad Max Fury Road 2015 bluray+DVD (digital hd not included)" but the screenshot I took above is what it looks like. If they send me something else I will just ask for a refund.

The seller most likely used the wrong stock photo and you'll probably be getting the standard two-disc set (if it isn't a bootleg of some sort).

Yeah.
Is that an actual photo, or a stock photo?

It's a stock photo of the US Steelbook

OK, so I watched this again last night. I'm sure it's just my screen, but I noticed that the reds throughout the movie were incredibly vivid and almost cartoonish...I saw this three times in the theater and that never stood out to me, although obviously red is an important part of the movie's palette. Especially any scene with blood or Nux's red flare just seemed over the top. Maybe I'm going a little . It was still as perfect as ever!

How long is the extra documentary featured in the 4-film
anthology set? Is it a decent feature?

Statement's like yours^ make me excited to see this movie! Are you old enough to have seen any of the other movies in this franchise in the theater? And if so, is this one your favorite?

I thought the BD looked a little LESS color-exaggerated than my theatrical experience, especially the blue sections, but it was probably in my head.

I just noticed the Toe Cutter's death in Max's nightmare when he's sleeping. Nice touch.

Hugh Keays-Byrne has portrayed two of the most memorable film villains, and they're both in the same series. Lol I love George Miller.
