'The Lost World' is soooooo good for a sequel. I don't get the hate and I think anyone that thinks JPIII is better is absolutely crazy. 'Jurassic World' is not as good as TLW either. There's only one good sequel to Spielberg's Jurassic Park, and it's the one directed by Steven Spielberg.

I love The Lost World. I probably watch, and enjoy it more than any of the others. Jeff Goldblum as the lead doe's it for me. The rest of the cast is pretty great too.

All 4 films are great imo, minus the ending to JP3, that was god awful.

It was a BS ending. I didn't like a lot of 2 though. I'd like a actual film like the book.

I agree in that the film has a few too many moments of silly distraction. Like I say the entire city ending is one big joke essentially. Look at the contrast between that ending and the Explorer attack in the original, or even the trailer attack earlier in the film in regards to the rex. It goes from a genuine predator to a dinosaur caricature. Even its one kill (if I am not mistaken) in a packed city was off screen as apposed to the pretty graphic death of the lawyer in the first. The tourists running, the giant doughnut rolling by, the little girl pointing it out to her parents outside the window as they both comically scream etc. While I enjoy the left turn it took to a certain degree the whole third act was, like I say, a comical detour.

The Rex ate a dude trying to run into a building... That was definitely on screen.

Well, he was eaten out of frame technically.

One of the Rexes ate that one guy with the long hair, when he panicked after a snake went down his shirt, it also flattened that Spanish dude by stepping on him too. So, they killed a few people.
