Yeah, the Big 12 had a rule that walk-ons that transferred to another Big 12 school would lose a year of eligibility. This would have cost Mayfield a year of eligibility, but before the 2016 season the Big 12 changed the rule and said that walk-ons that didn't have a written scholarship offer from their original school could transfer and not lose a year of eligibility, so Mayfield had 2 years of eligibility remaining. If they hadn't changed the rule Mayfield still would have had a year of eligibility remaining in 2017 (the year he won the Heisman), but he wouldn't have been eligible to play in the Big 12.

Yes and no, but Jalen will be a graduate transfer so his is pretty cut and dried.

I really wished he was going to stay, but understand why he's going. It will be interesting to see is Tua and little Tua will be 1 and 2 on the depth chart next year or if little brother might redshirt.

Taulia is a the 5th rated Pro style QB in the nation (4 star and 7th ranked overall QB). A little lower ranked than Tau was his senior season, but not by much

FSU release it's 2019 Schedule yesterday. If Taggert can't win at least 8 games he needs to go right after the fu game. Its pretty weak. Boise state to open the season in Jacksonville we will see.

Hurts to OU is laughable because he can’t throw. Much like Bryant to Mizzu it doesn’t matter where they go play. They can’t throw a forward pass. Fields to OSU. Who cares? I’ve seen him play several times including high school and I’ve never been overly impressed with him. Always seemed over hyped to me. He was a 3 star recruit until he blew up in 7 on 7 camps. Good luck with him as your starter Buckeyes. He couldn’t beat out average Fromm. Think UGA is winless when he throws for 30 or more.

It never even crosses my mind because unlike you I don't think Ohio St. is the end all be all of college football like you think Clemson all of sudden is. I'm not sure I'd call Richt a loser, but he's always been badly overrated. He just never could quite take Georgia to the next level, despite consistent top-tier recruiting classes. His record at Miami was pretty mediocre as well.
