It wasn't a "few measly seconds". It was crap, along with a bunch of other unbelievably stupid moments in that movie.

A doctor/scientist leaving a blood-soaked t-Rex jacket hanging over them to dry? In Dino land???

I'd bet even a few unborn babies would know that wasn't the brightest idea.
