Skyscraper was the best 90s style action movie in quite some time!

The ending is hilarious. Head shot after head shot.

I have a hard time taking seriously anyone who would call The Departed "one of the worst high-profile pictures I've ever seen." You don't like it, you don't like it. Fair enough. But one of the worst, really? That's absurd.

I've seen some weird reviews, but ... yikes.

The Departed is a bad film but Scorsese's Leo era other than Wolf is really rough.

His best performance was in Boogie Nights, but I don't think that's an unpopular opinion.

Nope, his performance is lauded there, along with the rest of the cast (mainly Julianne Moore).

Not sure if this is an UO but Emma Stone's acting is cringe and I avoid all of her movies which sucks because she chooses interesting indies. She is the only part of birdman I can't stomach.

I understand that. She is totally overated in my opinion. Tolerated her on The Amazing Spider-Man movies but on La La La and Birdman she irritated me a bit. I think i like her more on comedies. And im struggling a bit to watch Maniac until the end but she kinda growing on me on that show now. So im not sure how to solve this love/hate story. Maybe i should call her and solve that with a date

She worked pretty well in Birdman, IMO, because it could be argued most of the actors were playing exaggerated or slightly skewed versions of themselves in certain ways, and although she was probably one of the characters in that film that was a little further removed from her real-life self (compared to Keaton, Norton, etc), yes, Stone is definitely an acquired taste. With hindsight I think her Oscar win was a tad hasty and is one of those that will join the list of, "She really won an Oscar for that film?"

Birdman and La La Land are the only movies that I can barely stand her in.

Easy A is a below average movie at best.

I've never seen a performance by Emma Stone that wasn't at least very good, if not excellent. Then again, it's not like I've seen everything she's been in.
