![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() - Arcade perfect with extra modes - Mission Mode: Rush is main character - Dual analogue sticks for FPS mode - 60% complete, due to release end of 2007 PS3 exclusive. Hopefully the gun's just a prototype and the final one's Bluetooth with a more tasteful finish (black is pictured in the first shot). ![]() Last edited by Shin-Ra; 10-26-2007 at 12:34 AM. |

Let's see some bluetooth and an actual arcade gun that has a functional slide. Personally speaking, I'd pay some $200.00+ for the arcade style gun with a "real" slide.

Question. Don't those guns work on IR that "bounces" back from a reflective screen? I'm no expert. My girlfriend got me one on those cheap game systems you can buy in the mall which has a bunch of old NES games on it. One was Duck Hunt and the gun didn't work because I had an LCD with a matte screen.

I don't think they'd bother making the game and lightgun if they couldn't make it compatible with matte screen HDTV's.
There's already been a few lightguns that work with standard def LCD screens (don't know if they worked with HDTV's running in low res). |

The article says that the gun will work with any display type because of the sensors that you place at both ends of your tv.

I owned Time Crisis and the G-Con for PlayStation but sold them on, I still own TC2 and the G-Con 2. I prefer the original game and never bought TC3. Played it at I think the first of two PlayStation Experience events in London though.
I'll probably get 4. |

I can tell you that in the US the gun will not be black. They aren't allowed to sell "Realistic" looking guns, because people get shot on accident. |

EDIT: If they are working with wired sensors, then the gun need not be Bluetooth. The gun can be a wireless 2.4Ghz transmitter like the Logitech controller. This way, you don't use up a Bluetooth slot and two guns can be connected without eating up another slot. A limited edition one would be made with metal, have a slide action and cocks with each fire. That one would have to be a wired USB one/one with power supply. fuad Last edited by WriteSimply; 06-15-2007 at 03:02 PM. |
