GameSpot Review of Oblivion

I always find it funny when the inherent biases come straight to the front.

Anyway was reading the GameSpot review of Oblivion on PS3. They made made several direct comparisons to the 360 version and all were favorable for PS3:

- Shading is better
- Graphics in general are better
- The "draw distance" is farther so you can see a longer distance when roaming around (which is really a big deal in a game like Oblivion because it's cool as hell to be on a mountain and see for miles and miles)
- Gameplay is more fluid, less jittery
- Much faster load times
- Knights of the Nine expansion is built in

PS3 Score - 9.5
X-Box 360 Score - 9.6

Not sure how that makes sense. they always build in this internal factor for how much better PS3 games should be given the capabilities. Can they ever just reveiw the game objectively?

Unfortuantely I cannot access the GameSpot site from work so I won't paste it here, but it is easy to find. I just think it's lame. Score it for what it is, not what you think it should be.
