Default Update player web page?

seems out of date.

Sony
- BDP-S1/S1E
- BDP-S300/S301

Panasonic
- DMP-BD10/10A

Pioneer
- BDP-HD1
- BDP-94HD
- BDP-LX70

Philips
- BDP9000

Samsung
- BDP-1000
- BDP-1200
- BD-UP5000 (dual format)

Sharp
- BD-HP1 (Japan)
- DV-BP1
- BD-MPC70 (BD HTIB)

LG
- BD100 (dual format)

would also be nice to link to the manufacturer's product web page to easily find more detail.

perhaps links to firmware update web pages for each product would also be useful?

Thank you for the suggestions.

Because of time constraints we've chosen to focus on the movie-section pretty much exclusively so far as that's the thing that most visitors/members seem to be interested in, so the hardware-sections have become a bit outdated. We plan to expand them to create a database of players/recorders/etc with more detailed information just like the movies-section in the future.

As for linking to firmware-updates, they are currently linked from the software-section, but they might get moved to the players-section once we add separate pages for each individual player.

Doews anyone know where you get the firmware updates for Sony's UK machines?. I have a Sony BDP-S1 on order and would like to get the latest firmware ready for it should it be needed, many thanks in advance.

I couldn't find a direct firmware upgrade for the UK model (as it was only released on June 14, 2007 in the UK), however I did find some general information and user manuals for the BDP-S1E (UK):

http://support.sony-europe.com/hav/b...c=BD&m=BDP-S1E

ENJOY!
