Panny V10 calling all Canadians... - Blu-ray Forum

Am waiting for this new line of Panny's to come out, but have yet to see them sold anywhere. Are they out yet? I had heard May and June (depending on size). And prices I have only seen in US$. Any input? I live in Ontario.

I put a down payment to order one here in Lloydminster (on the border of Saskatchewan and Alberta). They said that they can't officially order one in until the first week in June and they'll get it mid-to-late June, I think. I didn't order it at a chain like FutureShop or BestBuy...I ordered it at a store called "Tunes". I'm don't think it's a national chain.

They said the price is $3099 but I talked them down to $2850.

That's for the TC-P50V10 model.

Thanks. Great you were able to talk them down. Never heard of "Tunes" before. I'll probably also avoid the big chains and try a smaller dealer (and try to negotiate). I'm looking for the 54" - hopefully not too much more. Like I've said, I've only seen the US prices, but Cdn $ seem to be so much more than the posted exchange - 1.5 times as much or more. Crazy.

It makes no sense! I guess we just have to open up our wallets a little bit more, hahaha.

hope the stores learn how to display the sets in a proper way otherwise its all hype
