Default Ratatouille > Cars?!?!

I just noticed that we have more users with Ratatouille in their collections than Cars... And that these are the only two cartoons in the top 20.

Both are awesome movies, insane PQ/AQ, storylines that dont get old. If I had to rank them, Ratatouille is my #1... the opening scene with the old lady w/ shotgun is amazing.

Who likes Cars more? If you haven't watched the bonus features for it, do it. They have a lot of background on the movie and tons of "insider information", which makes it kind of cool.

I own both movies, but prefer Cars because I'm a car guy lol. Plus Cars was the first Pixar movie I watched.

Still, both are very enjoyable.

They're both worth owning. I think Cars beats out Ratatouille by a small margin as far as PQ, however I think Ratatouille is the better story.

Of the two, I prefer Cars.
Cars has the 3D pop moreso than Ratatouille.

Beter visuals - not so 2D as with many other animations.
Don't get me wrong, Rat is a great movie, I just think Cars looks better.

I think more people own Rat because it was the first Pixar Blu - and came out during the format war (in other words, many people were voting with their dollars). It's been out longer and is newer (many people probably owned Cars already on DVD, and were not in a rush to get it on Blu).

I personally was not big on Cars. I liked it very much - but not something I would watch again and again.

I own both but if I had to choose I'd go with Ratatouille. In all honesty Cars is probably my least favorite Pixar film, which still makes it better than 99% of the movies out there.

Cars is an excellent movie with lots of laughs, Ratatouille is the best Pixar movie ever though.

I wouldn't go that far but it is the weakest of the Pixar films.

I liked the scene at the end of cars when they get the road fixed and all the neon done... and everyone is cruising around. And the whole idea of the car hotel lol... just back in and go to sleep.. which I don't think would be a bad idea in real life.

I own both, watched Cars 20+ times, Ratat. once (boring) did not care for the characters, excellent PQ though Pixar's weakest link on my opinion.

Cars is dull. Very dull.

For whatever reason, a lot of people consider Cars among the worst Pixar movies, and Ratatouille one of the best.

Then there are a few people like me, who think the complete opposite (though I still own both).

Rat really connects to people who love to cook because at the very end, it captures exactly what cooking is about. How a simple meal can connect you to a specific memory and what it means to you. It's great that Pixar had that understanding.

I've never actually watched Cars all the way through. I will eventually. Probably pick up a couple movies this Friday.
