I don't if any of you guys have heard of this or not, but it is spreading like wild fire... A guy called Hokeido had a racing lip stolen of his Acura TSX at Yorkdale Mall near Toronto. And he posted the details a few weeks later warning people about the suspected culprit. After CCTV footage, a massive internet wide crack down from 20 different Car Club forums, Kijiji, Google Earth, Photo Bucket... the criminal has been tracked down! Take a look!

Lol i didn't sell it very well in my description of it, start reading through it and you'll see!

Somebody posted the pictures of a car that belonged to someone "Aspec KID", it looked like the car in the CCTV footage that pulled up next to Hokeido's car.. lo and behold "Aspec Kid" appears and posts the most ridiculous defense I have ever heard ranging from his girlfriend crying to his weekly wages and lifetime savings. Utter retard. Later he made a new acccount on the forum as some random new user... this "new user" was like "oh hey guys lol it was me that stole the lip from Hokeido's car... Sorry Aspec Kid for taking the blame!!" .... retard... the Admins did an IP check... "new user" and "Aspec Kid" came from the same IP... what a fool.

No, the most "epic" forum on the internet was on some car site where guys were posting pictures of their girlfriends, and one guy posted pictures from some porn site, and they called him out on it.

Seeing him try to prove it was his girlfriend was one of the funniest (and longest) threads I've ever read.

I'm only a member on 2 forums (this one and a baseball one), and joined both of those last year... but this car thing is something I saw a couple years ago that one of my friends sent me.

If someone knows what I'm talking about, please post it here. I want to see it again.

No no, it's not the fake girlfriend, it's all the stuff that happened afterward.

This one got kind of dumb after a few pages, because tons of new people signed up for the forums just to comment. This one has the potential to get better, if people start showing up at his house (or his grandparents' house, I guess).

well, the thread was closed but WOW, I wish I had a break like that when my car was stolen. I searched on eBay and craigslist for a long time and local internet sites for parts to my car.
