Must Watch: First Trailer for Star Wars Geek Drama '77' - Blu-ray Forum

This movie is about a big movie geek and what happens to him when Star Wars is released in 77. Looks pretty good actually. Click the pic to check out the trailer:

77 is both written and directed by Patrick Read Johnson, the very same filmmaker that the movie is about, who previously directed Spaced Invaders, Baby's Day Out, Angus, and is credited for the story on Dragonheart. The film doesn't have a distributor or a release date yet, so we're not sure when or where it'll debut, although it could be at Fantastic Fest. Stay tuned for updates on 77 as they arrive! Thoughts?

I rented Fanboys and liked it so I'll definately give this one a shot as well. I'm a huge star wars geek.

Looks good so far. So I hope it comes out sometime this year.

I don't want to see another Fanboys situation where the film gets shelved for eternity.

fanboys was okay as a rental..the trekkie wars were the most fun tho...and kristen bell..without her...forget about it

Pat Johnson has been making this movie on and off for like 10 years. So this one was in a fanboys situation long before Fanboys existed. I hope they can get it all together and get it released finally.
