Default Che Parts I and II Collectors Edition...

Not sure if this should go in the spanish section or not, but I came across this:

http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/detailview.html?KEY=BP-493

VERY expensive, but its a region free offering WITH an ENGLISH friendly track. Since this hasn't been announced yet for the US I thought I would post it. Anyone know of a cheaper alternative for the US?

Hello,

A quick clarification -- it is not an English friendly track, rather what the info points out is that the film contains spoken dialog in the three languages noted above. With other words, there is no English dub on the disc, and if you are not fluent in Spanish, I recommend that you avoid picking this release up (since English subtitles are not available for the Spanish dialog).

Thanx a lot ulri4651, if Che is not released in Region A soon, I may consider importing it from Japan.

Since spanish is my 1st language, the lack of an english track is not a problem. I just want to get that wonderful movie on BD.

It hasn't been confirmed yet that this release does not have an english subtitle track, where are you getting your information? You can't take CDJapan's stats as fact. There wasnt any information as far as subtitles go in the initial press release: (http://av.watch.impress.co.jp/docs/n...306_43226.html)

I don't see why this release wouldn't get an english track since it is an American film. And every film I've ever purchased from Japan has had an english subtitle track. I think we're just gonna have to wait until the 12.

Edit - Not to mention even this very site states that it will have an english subtitle track (https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/movies.php?id=4739) But yeah my Amazon preorder and I hope your wrong.

I't not only an American film, it's a Spain /France/ USA venture.

Your right how ignorant of me to post that without having the facts to back it up. It was heavily funded by a French company (Wild Bunch) and Spain's Telecinco/Moreno Films after Soderbergh decide to shoot it mostly in Spanish.

I just equated American filmaker to American film sorry bout that.
