outlaw LFM-1 plus - Blu-ray Forum

I have a chance to get a "like new" lfm-1 plus for $425.00 including shipping. any thoughts on this sub, and for the price? thanks

I guess it depends on how much a brand new one would cost. If it cost less than 1/3 more than what your paying then I'd recommend that you just save the 1/3 and buy it new. also, is it still in warrenty and if so, is that warrenty transferable? Of course the other thing is once you get it of it stops working or dosen't work right from the start and your out of warrenty are you stuck? what is the seller offering you in the way of "peace of mind?"

new is 549.00 plus 71.00 shipping. 620.00 total.not sure if warranty is transferable.

I would just give Outlaw call abount the warranty. It looks like a good deal to me. I have have the LFM-1 compact (10" driver) and have been really impressed with it. (I'm acutally upgrading to a MFW-15 though for more low end in my HT). I can't speak for the larger sub, but mine is very musical with great mid end punch. I'm sure the LFM-1 plus will do much better in the really low end than mine because of larger driver. There is a good Outlaw sub thread over at AVS worth checking out to hear about the LFM-1 plus's performance.

Outlaw has some great sales every now and then, but if the sub is in good shape I'd say that is a great price shipped.
