This title just screams "Family Film" Of course Seann plays a jackass AGAIN and even craps at his heists. Cause it was so awesome in the Sopranos and Alpha Dog, let's keep doing it! Kevin Smith really needs to let the shit jokes go.

The script, by Robb and Mark Cullen, follows a maverick cop (Willis) and his partner (Morgan) who, while tracking a valuable stolen baseball card, tangle with a memorabilia-obsessed gangster and rescue a Mexican beauty who holds the key to millions in laundered drug money.

Scott plays a thief known as the Shit Bandit for the souvenirs he leaves at his robberies. Brody is an abrasive detective not happy to be working with Willis and Morgan.

Shooting begins Monday in New York.

Marc Platt and Polly Johnsen are producing. Sarah Schechter and Matthew Milam are overseeing for the studio.

Scott, repped by CAA, recently starred in Universal's "Role Models" and will next be heard in Fox's sequel "Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs."

Endeavor-repped Brody next appears in Boaz Yakin's indie drama "Death in Love" then in "Jennifer's Body," a Diablo Cody-penned dark comedy starring Megan Fox and Amanda Seyfried.

I don't understand the reference to Sopranos and Alpha Dog in your post.

Exactly in the context I used it, people taking craps during heists. In the Sopranos one of the morons who worked for Chris at the Exchange always got nervous and had to crap during every job they where doing so everytime someone was cracking the safe he was leaving a hot lunch on the carpet. In Alpha Dog, Ben Foster (Jake) did it when they broke into Johnny's house and trashed it. I'm just very tired of seeing people taking craps on film.

oh fair enough, I didn't remember either of those moments!

it's good to know that even if Smith didn't write this, it's right up his alley. and I say that as a fan.

Here's hoping it's at least decent.

Which amused me at 13 but 10 years later.........I just find myself to have outgrown his work.
