I wish there was a way to automatically see game updates - Blu-ray Forum

For example, a PS3 owner could put in a list of PS3 games that they own on their PS3 system (or the list could be built automatically as players put games in their system). The system would then automatically check for updates for those games and list available updates and/or DLC for those games(and even potentially download the updates automatically...as defined in User Settings).

I think that would be a great idea, first of all to stay on top of what's new for your games (without having to go check online or pop the disc in). Added functionality to games through updates is a great way to get people back into that game, and it's sort of annoying sometimes when I put a game in that I haven't played in a long time (for a party or something) and have to wait for an update I didn't know about.

Good idea but I wouldn't want them to download updates automatically because some are quite large, and if you haven't played a game for quite a while (or don't own it anymore) you might not want the update. Would definitely like to know if there is and update/patch available though.
