Weeds Season 4 - Skips in Last Episode - Blu-ray Forum

Hey guys, just completed watching Weeds Season 4 and in the very last episode the disc seems to skip. When Nancy is driving in her car talking to the woman on the phone about a gift basket it automatically jumps to the next scene and cuts her off in mid sentence. My screen goes completely black like it was turned off, but then after a few seconds it picks up and the picture looks fine. I don't know if anyone else who has this has gotten this far since it was only released yesterday, but if anyone knows anything that would be great. I'm downloading a new firmware update to my PS3 as we speak so I'll let everyone know if that fixes it, but it seems very weird to me how this is happening.

Sounds like a non-related firmware problem. I'd take the whole series back.

I watched the entire season already, and then rechecked today, and can confirm I have a copy with no issues. So it seems like it's just something that needs to be exchanged.

I'm on my second copy of season 1 - first wouldn't play at all. Second copy freezes in last episode about half way through. Season 2 disk also freezes in episode five at right form the start making it unwatchable. A third copy is on the way from amazon but my return timeframe for season 2 has passed. Guess I'm screwed. I mean who would jump ahead to the next season before watching earlier episodes. i have season 3 also but haven't checked it yet. Looks like some quality issues at the factory. I'm also using a PS3 - I have over 200 blu's and only had one other troublesome disk - Planet Earth.

Even if the return time frame has passed, IIRC, amazon will still let you return it for a partial refund or something like that. I don't know if they let you return if it's been a long long time though.
