Film Four June 16th releases?

I know they're not out yet, but Film Four are supposedly releasing East is East, The Motorcycle Diaries and (most importantly for me) Sexy Beast on June 15th in the UK and I haven't seen anything in the way of specs or early reviews yet. I've noticed that a few UK independent distributors are waiting until the last minute with some catalog titles and then delaying them (Anchor Bay's The Long Good Friday springs to mind), and I wanted to know if anybody knows of a delay, or has recieved any review copies.

We are working with them. This being said, your observations are correct. I am, however, very optimistic about their output.

Our review of Trainspotting will be up tonight and Shallow Grave in a few days.

I wasn't as worried about the Boyle films, as Slumdog Millionaire's success pretty much guaranteed that Film Four would get them out if they could. Plus, they had gotten updates on extras and specs a couple months before their release on the 1st. But these three due out on the 15th are niche catalog titles that were released in early 2008 on DVD and HD DVD; I just hope we aren't looking at port-overs after all these months.

I had also posted a message in Sexy Beast's thread prior to creating this one, but alas, there has been only little interest in that thread.

Sigh...end of the last work day before release and still nothing in the way of any reviews or updates on these three titles. I have a strong feeling that we're looking at HD DVD ports that were not deemed significant enough to warrant pre-release inspection...though I continue to hope.

If anyone in the UK can confirm that they are in stores on Monday, I'd really appreciate it.

I was not sent any of these (Shallow Grave is upcoming). I will make sure to inquire first thing Monday morning though.

I got a confirmation e-mail from Amazon.co.uk for Sexy Beast this morning, so I will update that title's thread with specs when I receive my copy if no one does so before me.

Amazon.co.uk now lists all three as "Temporarily out of stock" even though they shipped my copy of Sexy Beast on Friday/Saturday and they supposedly streeted yesterday--very strange.
