Default Blu-ray pixelation problem :(

I have a problem that I can't seem to figure out. When watching some films on blu I start getting what appears to be pixelation on certain objects (typically lines, both curved and straight). Know I personally originally thought this was just related to my sharpness bieng to high, however even on the lowest possible sharpness there is no change. On top of that for some films there is no such problem at all (eg: casino royale, quantum of solace, transformers, avp2, sunshine, silence of the lambs), and for others the screen is filled with them (cloverfield, beowulf, the dark knight,). Due to there bieng overlaping video codecs I don't think the codec would be the issue.

I've set the refresh rate at 24 and 60 and in both casses there is no change in this pixelation [which seems to be very selective in a very random way] (as it stands with the films that have this problem they currently look worse then a youtube video when the problem is apparent).

Any ideas/suggestion would be appreciated as i'm completely lost as to what it could be (and the local hifi stores don't seem to have anything intelligent to say [eg: dunno]). Also noteworthy is i'm running blu from my laptop via hdmi out to an epson tw3000 (which is more or less the same as the epson 6100). I have also tried it on several other 1080p plasmas and get the same odd problem (I cant remember the models of the top of my head) with the same problems.

[side note: i've been considering taken the projector back in store and replacing it as there are several issues i've had with the projector as whilst the projector is nice and when it works is immpresive for the price there have been to many problems and i've owned it for less then a week].

what are the specs on the PC? Do you get the pixelation only on Blu-Ray or does it happen on normal DVDs also? If it happens on different displays (projectors/PC screen/HDTV) I would suspect the laptop.

Yes, It also happens on different displays. I however had not had this problem up untill two days ago and have been using it as my blu ray player since late 2007 with no such problem. Which is why i'm confused as to why it would have started now. It doesn't happen wiith dvd's and when playing blu there's no jumping/skipping so I don't think it would be that. I had a quick play around with the display settings and I think something may have been changed when I updated windows last (which was apparently a few days ago). Though i'm still having the problem I did managed to get it somewhat reduced, but now its back again.

I thought I may add that I believe it is an antialiasing problem of sorts (or at least that what it looks like to me).
