Default MOH series dead?

i was wondering if EA is done with the medal of honor series? the last games they put out for it was airborn, vanguard, and heroes 2, and they were all in 2007. MOH hasnt been mentioned since those games. Also, since then EA has made a push with making battlefield a successful console series with bad company, bc2, and 1943. i used to like the moh games but did ea end the francise in favor of a popular pc one that has games set in modern times to compete with activisions cod4 and the upcoming mw2. i would just like to hear some other peoples take on the situation.

Maybe the only way Medal of Honor can redeem itself is go to the gritty, guerilla style of Call of Duty: World at War, or make it take place during modern times....

Medal of Honor: Modern Warfare?

I think these ww2 fps games play alike, I wouldn't know the difference if the game titles were switched.

The original Medal of Honor was quite brilliant for its time, but the series has not weathered well over the years. I know the military buffs out there will scoff, but do we really need any more World War II shooters? Seriously? (and it's not like we're not getting them still, Call of Duty: World at War seems to also not want to let go of the past).

I think one underrated WWII game is Brothers in Arms: Road to Hill 30. Great game indeed. However, I'm glad the 'replay' MOH are done with, if only for the time being.

If anything, the new one (if they make it) should look at a different war than WWII. That war has had so many iterations. Maybe look at something else. All in all, I think the franchise is over.

I always liked the feel of the MOH series much better than the COD 1/2/3, 4 being the exception.

I loved the first two on the PS1 and the first on PS2. IMO, the series died after those three.
