I am looking at solutions to create discs and I like that the LaCie as its cross compatible, this so I could use with either my PC or Mac. It would be nice if it was FireWire 800 however, their specs indicate 8x w/BD-R
It mentioned BD-RE: @ 2x, what is RE? Also, any other considerations with output of content from Sony Vegas or FinalCut Pro if anyone has burned from these NLE? I just upgraded to Vegas 9.0 from a prior rev as it states you can burn Blu-ray right from the time-line, or go into Architect 5.0 which I also have if one wants titles and chapters, again have yet to do this as I now need a drive http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/vegaspro/bluray Many thanks |
